What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing surface defects from your vehicle's clear coat — including swirl marks, water spots, light scratches, oxidation, and buffer trails — using machine polishers and progressively finer compounds and polishes. The result is a mirror-smooth finish with dramatically improved gloss and clarity.

What stages of paint correction do you offer?

We offer single-stage (enhancement), two-stage (medium correction), and three-stage (full correction) polishing. A stage-one polish removes minor defects and adds gloss. A two-stage corrects most swirl marks and scratches. A three-stage is our most aggressive cut, removing up to 80–90% of paintwork defects and is recommended before a ceramic coating or PPF installation.

Will paint correction remove all scratches?

Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat layer — typically swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. Scratches that have cut through the clear coat into the base coat or primer cannot be corrected by polishing and require a paint respray. We'll inspect your vehicle and give you an honest assessment before any work begins.

Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?

Absolutely — and we always recommend it. Ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in, including defects. Correcting first and then coating means you're locking in a flawless surface. Our full-correction-plus-ceramic packages offer the best long-term value.
