Why film
A physical shield, not a coating.
- Self-healing
- Light swirls and scratches in the top coat disappear with heat from the sun or warm water.
- UV and stain resistant
- Warranted against yellowing, cracking and staining. Bug guts and bird droppings wipe off the film, not your paint.
- Ten-year warranty
- Premium films carry a ten-year manufacturer warranty. Removed cleanly when you sell or change strategy.

Paint protection film, answered.
The questions we get most about film.
PPF is a clear, thermoplastic urethane film applied directly over your vehicle's painted surfaces. It acts as a physical barrier against rock chips, road debris, bug splatter, minor abrasions, and UV damage — all while remaining virtually invisible. We work with industry-leading premium films and select the right product for each application.
Premium PPF comes with a manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and staining — top-tier films typically carry a 10-year warranty. With proper care the film can last the life of the vehicle and is removed when you change vehicles or choose a different protection strategy.
No — professional PPF is virtually invisible when installed correctly. Today's top films feature zero orange-peel texture and a glossy finish that enhances the paint beneath. Matte or satin finishes are also available if you prefer a different look.
PPF can be applied to any painted surface. Common coverage zones include the full front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, A-pillars, rocker panels, door cup areas, and full-body wraps. We offer partial-front packages for high-impact zones as well as full-vehicle coverage for maximum protection.
They serve different purposes and work best together. PPF is a physical shield that stops rock chips and deep scratches — ceramic coating cannot. Ceramic coating adds hydrophobic properties and chemical resistance that bare PPF lacks. Our most popular option is PPF over the high-impact zones with a ceramic coating applied on top, giving you both physical and chemical protection.

The Journal →Matte or Satin PPF on Gloss Paint: The Stealth Look That Protects Your Paint
Clear matte or satin PPF turns gloss paint into a satin finish and protects it from stone chips at the same time, and the factory gloss is still underneath when the film comes off. Here is how it looks, how to care for it, and when it makes sense.
Can You See PPF? Edges, Seams and What a Clean Install Looks Like
Good PPF is very hard to spot from normal viewing distance, but it isn't magic. Here is where film edges and seams go, what's normal in the first days after install, what isn't, and what to check when you pick up your car.
Ceramic Coating Over PPF: Should You Coat the Film?
PPF stops stone chips. A ceramic coating makes the film easier to keep clean, helps it resist stains and makes it bead water like coated paint. Here is why the two work best together, what order they go on in, and how to coat the rest of the car.
